Your babies are too cute!!
God is so good!! We had a marvelous day today at our Thanksgiving feast! The weather was perfect and the students LOVED it! Thank you so much to all of the parents that served, decorated, and helped to make the feast a success. A special thanks to Kadra Parkman for making the most beautiful cookies for all of the children. They were too cute to eat!!
We had a great week leading up to the Thanksgiving Feast. We made "Long Legged Turkeys," practiced Thanksgiving math fact families, and created Turkey Syllable books. The students were learning in every activity/game and didn't even realize it! I hope that you enjoy the pictures of some of our fun-filled activities this week!
Please check your child's outerwear. We have a couple of students missing their jackets. Also, if your child's name is not in his/her outerwear please do so over the holidays.
I hope that you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving. I am thankful for every student that God has placed in my care this year. Your precious little ones are a blessing to me each and every day. They make me smile! I LOVE them!! Happy Thanksgiving!
Here is a look at our week after returning from the holidays:
Reading - long i (ie, igh,ign,ild,ind)
Math - Mixed Practice (addition and subtraction)
Social Studies - Maps, My World
English - Verbs
Bible - Mary and the Angel Memory Verse - Luke 2:7

Weekly Preview November 7-11
Happy November!
Can you believe that it is already mid-term of the second nine weeks? I will send your child’s mid-term report in Monday’s folder. The students are doing a fabulous job and working so hard. Thank you for the reinforcement that you are providing at home. It certainly makes a difference!
The students have enjoyed working in math tubs the past couple of weeks. We are enjoying playing games while reinforcing math concepts. The students are learning and don’t even realize it!
Please encourage your child to use the IXL website to practice math facts at home. IXL is a great resource. The students love earning the rewards.
As a reminder, we will not be in school Friday, November 11. Therefore, reading test and Bible Verse will be on Thursday. Spelling words are going home this Friday.
Here is a look at the week ahead:

Math - Addition to 12
Social Studies - Community and Maps
