Tah-Tah Day

Exciting things are going on at the Friendly Frog Pad.  We enjoyed celebrating the book

 Ira Sleeps Over with Tah-Tah Day.  Students brought their Tah-Tahs to school and wore pajamas.  The day's activities included a Tah-Tah parade, writing Tah-Tah stories, and eating popcorn with our Tah-Tahs.

Let's Pretend Hospital

What an awesome field trip!  The students thoroughly enjoyed the morning learning about hospital related procedures.  Thanks to our drivers!

We had a great time celebrating 101 Days of School.  

On February 12 the Angel Choir visited the Cancer Center.  We sang and delivered Valentine cards to the patients.  What an awesome experience.  As I watched the patients listen to the beautiful voices of the first graders I saw smiles, tears, and rejoicing.  These students were truly a blessing at the Cancer Center.  Thank you First Graders for being the hands and feet of Jesus.

We had a wonderful time leading up to the Christmas holidays.  Thanks to the many parents that helped  make our Christmas party a success.  We had a great time.  I am looking forward to seeing these cuties on Tuesday, January 7th.

We had a fabulous Thanksgiving Feast!  Thank you to the many parents that helped with the feast.  I hope that you and your family have a blessed week!  I am thankful for these little Indians and Pilgrims!!

50th Day of School

We celebrated 50th Day in a BIG way!  The students dressed in their 50's attire and we spent the day having a blast.  We learned about life in the 50's, danced to some 50's music, and participated in 50th Day literacy centers.  We had a special 50th Day snack.  What a memorable day.  First grade is fabulous!
