We had the best time celebrating Johnny Appleseed Day. We had a lot of apple fun in class. Thank you to our sweet mom volunteers who helped us prepare our homemade applesauce. The students loved it and the aroma in our classroom was incredible as the apples simmered all day.
The day involved stories about John Chapman (Johnny Appleseed), math and literacy activities with apple themes, labeling activities, a KWL chart, and apple tasting.
