Happy Fall Yall!
We have enjoyed a little fall like weather outside and some pumpkin investigation inside. Students were amazed to learn that an almost 9 lb pumpkin could float! We estimated and measured the height and weight of our pumpkin. We estimated and count the rings on our pumpkin. Students used their prediction skills to predict if the wind from the hair dryer would move the pumpkin.
At the end of the week we used our pumpkin to share the Christian message. We talked about how Christ can remove the seeds of doubt, greed, sin, etc. Then, he carves us into a new smiling face and puts His light inside of us to shine for all the world to see.
